15 years prior experience within permanent and contract recruitment, across large, small and start-up businesses certainly gives you an excellent grounding for training and career development but also helps you realise what you would do differently if you had the chance.
I set up Fortress to create a bespoke offering suited to my style; honest, passionate and with a focused approach. I continue to pride myself on my ability to build strong working relationships with both clients and candidates, and to truly understand their needs and challenges. It's this personal, consultative approach that sets us apart - delivering not just placements, but lasting relationships built on trust and results. Outside of work, I’m family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my husband, son and dogs, Polly and Percy. A food enthusiast and qualified PT, I balance family life with fitness, often in the gym or running around the South Coast!

Four years in recruitment, following a background in marketing and events, confirmed how much I enjoy roles centred around people, relationships and making things happen. At Fortress, I love being involved in the entire recruitment lifecycle, from understanding a client's business to seeing a candidate start an exciting new chapter. Becki and I share a similar work ethic and outlook, making Fortress a natural fit, and defence, engineering and advanced manufacturing have given me a new world to get stuck into.
My approach is honest, straight-talking and approachable. I want candidates to feel they're talking to a real person who understands their career goals and their life outside work, because a career move affects whole families. Outside work, I'm happiest with my husband, Kyle, and our two young boys. I love good food, UK city and beach trips, live music and, when the occasion calls, a good gin!
